Omari Blue is a new force in the EDM world, specializing in uplifting guitar trance for those who love to workout, run, bike, play active sports, dance, or just want to stay awake during that all-nighter! What sets Omari Blue apart from most other EDM acts is of course the guitar - very few trance productions include even rhythm or lead so Omari Blue wants to fill that niche.
The guitar player Omari (leader of the band of course!) grew up playing along with prog rock productions but grew bored with the directions the remaining few groups were taking and fell in love with guitar heavy Electro/Wave in the days of Ultravox and even the darker Cocteau Twins. Sad to see that genre disappear and most guitarists relegated to playing in old indie rock bands, he was turned on to the emotional side of trance by wonderful vocalists and friends such as Tiff Lacey, Stine Grove and Anthya. Hearing the non-existent guitar parts that should have been included in today's trance, he dusted off the old Strat and decided to write his own songs, with the electro influence spicing up the mixes.
