This is OMADA. As time goes by, the music becomes more electric, and eclectic, but rudimentary and elementary elements of song writing are kept at close range. We believe in using professional dynamics and basic instrumentation to create something "Unborn."
We were all born to the same mother, but didn't realize it until we were in our late 20's. DAMNIT! If just one of us had had the "chingos" to venture out of his room, we might have met much sooner.
Yes. We are building up quite a reputation for putting on large shows. This not being the time for modesty, I hesitatingly reveal that we have set and broken several records, and plan on doing it much more often. We are currently looking to book in San Antonio, San Marcos, Austin, and Dallas Texas, but we aren't afraid to venture anywhere. If the crowd is willing, so are we.
Well, whenever you get a group of guys together, the "influences" are going to be a bit diverse...but to give each his props and lay it down in brass tacks...I guess...
Singer----Seems to dig a lot of hip-hop and rap. Definitely into The Doors, Godsmack, stuff like that.
Guitarist----Seems to come from the old school "Heavy Metal Riffers." Now days he's into bands like Rage Against the Machine, and Puddle of Mudd. He also seems to enjoy the 70's rock. He makes it work.
The bassist----Definitely into the old school, but he's got a very interesting take on the new school. He too seems to derive a lot of his influence from the 70's and 80's, not to mention a bit of that old time blues, but he seems ever-willing to delve into the strange.
The drummer----He must attribute the following bands and drummers as his influences.. John Bonham, Keith Moon, Ginger Baker.
I think in this day and age, it's extremely easy to be critical of everything. I've learned to try and "Like" more, rather than "Hate" more. I'm a much happier person for it, and I have expanded my musical intake by leaps and bounds. I guess what i'm saying is that every band deserves a listen to. And every fan deserves to be heard, but hey, let's just try and have fun.
