Second take of Silky Second take of Silky
I had to go for it again. This is my Thunderbird amp and a strat with emg's on it. It's a different flavour altogether and some of the melodic phrases are quite nice.
Silky smooth Silky smooth
A Les Paul with a Polytone. Patented sound, but it has a well deserved place in history.
Hot blue notes Hot blue notes
Jammin over some well known changes. It was 32 degrees centigrade on this day, so all of us polar bears in Sweden had a really rough time, hence the name.
Funchismo Funchismo
I'm sure the title has some obscure meaning that I just couldn't figure out, hmmm. Anyway, a strat with a V-stack classic is sometimes a fabulous thing to play with. Inspiring sound and a funky track.
Zapped Zapped
Having a bit of fun with a modded BD2 and a BB preamp. The guitar is a Blade strat w EMGs and the amp is custom built with Tung Sol 5881s in it.
Relentless Relentless
Once in a while you just want to crank it up and go for it. This is what that might sound like if I ever get the urge again. Backing by Mats Nermark.
Camel Hump Camel Hump
Backing by Mats Nermark. Blade Strat w EMGs, TIM and a Mystique Blue Star. Put them all together with a lack of talent and this is what you get.
Quasimodo Quasimodo
Backing by Mats. It's a big, almost synthetic sound with the guitar. Really fun to play with.
Bar crawl Bar crawl
Backing by Mats again. His rythmic but very un-straight track was fun to use. Enjoy!
Window Pain Window Pain
Backing track by Mats Nermark but all guitars played by yours truly.
Jonesey Jonesey
Trying out a new amp here. With a Lovepedal COT50 it seems to work fine.
Blues for beginners Blues for beginners
Improvising over a jazz blues. My homework for this week.
Blue for you Blue for you
A 335 and a Line6 DL4 delay put to use. This is one take, something I don't usually do. Quite happy though.
Judge Dread Judge Dread
Music is all about conveying a feeling and this felt right at the time. A Les Paul through a Matamp New England Classic (yes, indeed!)
The Far side The Far side
Inspiration and transpiration are the keys to all intense music. I promise I'll work on that. Backing by Mats Nermark, and what a backing it is...
Cover up Cover up
A Les Paul, a V-stack and loads of gain covered up with heaps of delay. You never know what you can get away with. BT by Mats Nermark.
This time This time
There is no other reason to hear this, besides the absolutely gorgeous guitar sound. Every once in a while it happens, and this time, I've caught it on mp3. BT by Mats Nermark.
Delightful Delightful
Having a long streak of uninspiring takes, I decided to put an end to it. A Les Paul and a COT50 through a custom amp w EL84:s
