How slow can you go? How slow can you go?

I always end up with unusual combinations like this one. A Gibson LP Std with a Marshall, played, yeap, clean...

Backing by Mats Nermark, with some excellent B3 playing, by the way. The amp is a '69 Marshall 1987, played with a Les Paul, WCR pickups and an OCD pedal for that extra grit.

Instrumental Rock

These are clips that I've assembled in my home studio, mostly learning how to record or play stuff that interests me and that I sometimes share with others. I realize that sometimes the recordings leave a lot to be wished for, both in terms of playing and recording techniques, but if I don't get it out there, how will I ever get the constructive critizism that I need to get better? I try to use decent gear, but I also try not to spend too much time on the technicalities of it all. I just want it to work and to communicate. The stuff you see here is mostly improvisation over various backing tracks. Some of the backings I've done myself and some I have borrowed.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
I am in a cover band that rehearses every once in a while. The material we play is mostly old rock tunes or Top40 stuff. It's excellent practise and good fun.
Your musical influences
I'm a sucker for Jimi's music and I always seem to get back to listening to him. Aside from that I enjoy 70s hard rock and, believe it or not, love to play jazz music.
What equipment do you use?
I play mostly fenders, strats and teles. The amps are hand built or custom made. I record with a Focusrite preamp and a Presonus Firepod.
Anything else?
Thank you for taking the time to read. If you've listened to any of the tracks, please stop by the message board and tell me what you think or write down constructive ideas to help me make better music.
