Sort of Erasure / New Order (musically) but with female vocals - ranging from sweet to angry.
Best described as darkwave/synthpop with a twisted lyrical edge. The music of NURVIS combines 80's and 90's influences with contemporary electronic styles. In other words, NURVIS try to embrace those things from the past that got them into music, yet incorporate new sounds and new ideas to create something original and timely.
Band/artist history
Formed in 1996, after Paul placed a classified ad in a local music magazine looking for a vocalist. Susan responded (among others who were far less qualified), and the writing went well from the start.

Welcome to the NURVIS message board. We're just starting to get things set up here on SoundClick, after the whole mp3.com thing went away (we were quite active there). Look for more songs in the coming weeks, as well as information about our second album (currently in the works), as well as information on some compilations we'll be featured on.
