Not Six is a newly started group that consists of Karoline (vocals) and Lars (guitars). We come from Brumunddal, Norway. We have a style of music, which we have decided to call "Fairy Tale Rock". It can be described as freaky and playful, with lots of attitude. We try to make songs that are both catchy and rough. Our lyrics are full of irony and sarcasm, since Karoline too can be quite sarcastic at times...Have you performed in front of an audience?Of course -- and we really enjoy it. But we haven't had many gigs yet, since we just started out. So far we've spent most of our time in the recording studio. And we are now in the process of fine-tuning our music with our live band.
Your musical influences
Mr. Bungle is a source of inspiration. Not Six can be viewed as a cross between Mr. Bungle, Gwen Stefani (?), Kate Bush and Surferosa (?).What equipment do you use?
We produce all our music with Cubase SX and VST instruments. Other equipment: Røde K2, TL Audio Ivory, Shure SM57, Fender Stratocaster, Ibanez JEMAnything else?
