Band/artist history
The Federal Reserve Notes are more than a group of run-of-the-mill Hip-Hop artists. The Notes are a movement, an era, a nod to what rap music should be. They have a style which does not perceive their Southern origin. They introduce the combination of unique individual talents that continues to improve. Composed in 1999, the Notes are the result of a bond between the current members that goes beyond music. Since the groups formation, they have gone on to create a credible discography. Their music covers a broad range of emotions and touches on numerous topics inspired greatly by their experiences as a group and their individual lives. But why should you listen to their music, or their story? What will make you want to invest in this groups ideals? Its because to hear them, is to feel them. To know them is to love them and relate to their world. It is because the group is united through their diversity, allowing anyone of any background who listens to engage in what the Notes impose through their art. Take a glimpse at what Hip-Hop has become. Now, study the Notes and understand what Hip-Hop will be.
