Nosmo King was formed in Lubbock, TX in the summer of 2002.
Current members include: Jerry Serrano (piano, vocals, guitar, trumpet, pennywhistle), Noel Ramirez (guitar, vocals),
Rafael Guitron (drums), and Trevor McGrew (bass).
Since its inception, Nosmo King has become one of the most original bands on the scene. With interests ranging from jazz music to classical and pop and rock, the band has crafted a sound unique from others.
Nosmo King was awarded several honors at the KTXT Band-off in November 2002. After only being together for only a few months, they won first place, the award for Best Vocals, and Jerry Serrano was given the Best Soloist award for his work on the trumpet.
The band has been playing in Lubbock frequently ever since, and plans to have their debut record out by the summer of 2004.
Nosmo King has played shows with many fine Lubbock bands, and has opened for nationally touring acts such as Bongos, Bass, and Bob and Oh My God.Contact
