The NLJO is a rehersal band in Bellingham, WA. which performs concerts 5 or 6 times a year, and occassionally plays for dancing. We are primarily a swing band in the tradition of the great Count Basie band, although we do perform some Bob Mintzer and Thad Jones charts.
We've been together about 5 years. The personel has stayed pretty much the same, with changes from time to time in the rhythm section, as people move on.
