Early demo song, of which at least four different versions exist. this is the best one...i like the sped of vox.

Experimental Sounds

Well in a way Noise Reductions was my first musical output, back in 1996. Though that wasnt what i was calling myself. I didnt have a 4-track or anything, so using a boombox i just did the old "bounce" back and forth technique to overdub stuff. However, it wasnt really until 2001 that i started to think of making "electronic" music seriously.
Band/artist history
Well when i was younger, DJ Shadow dropped "Endtroducing" which i heard on wsmu, and immediately fell in love with. using whatever keyboards and drum machines, etc i could find i began trying to make such music. Over the years i would dabble with recording such experiments, but just as a hobby. Years later i then started experimenting with ambient and white noise, as well as noise collages involving media clips. Then about a year later, i returned to a more keyboard-based approach and started getting more serious about it all. I started searching for used gear, and circuit bending my own instruments and toys, and here we are.
Your musical influences
Hmm, i like what Cex is doing a lot. a lot of that tigerbeat6 stuff...But it doesnt just end there, i own over 2500 cd's and in some way or another, they each have influenced me at least a bit over the years.
What equipment do you use?
As of lately...laptop, oxygen 8, Korg poly-8000, Roland mc-303 groovebox, and a bunch of circuit bent keyboards/toys, etc.
Anything else?
I think it's okay that Dr. Dooom killed Dr. Octagon. in all fairness, he had it coming, and "No Chorus" is fricking awesome.
