We are No-Artist, a kind of new band from Austria and currently we are working on a lot of new songs that will freak you out! Our band consists of 3 guys which are: Michi (Guitar, Vocals), Felix (Drums, Vocs) and Dominik (Vocs, Bass, Piano). Dominik will make the interview.Band/artist history
Our history actually started pretty early. In preschool Felix and I already started making music with the drums and a pan flute. We called us the "Jungle Band", but it was nothing really serious. A few years later I had the idea of calling him and making music again. Now we're hereHave you performed in front of an audience?Yeah sure we do. Right now we are not playing any shows because we're writing new stuff like I said before, but I recall one moment of a freaking cool live show.
It was on a band contest already at semi-finals. The first song went well but right into the second song, I noticed that there's something missing. It was the bass. I guess the cable was defect or something.
Then a few minutes later, Michi (the guitar player) started off into his guitar solo and just seconds before, the tech guy put the whole stage into a fog see. I couldn't see my own hand anymore. Neither of us did.
After that, the bass drum foot machine broke down. So you can imagine what happened. We didn't get into the finals, but it was fun tho.
Your musical influences
All three of us have different idols and influences. Felix is more into Coldplay, Radiohead and some electric stuff. Michi and I more like bands like: Fall Out Boy, Blink-182 and Panic, but I also have deep respect in Elvis and the Beatles.What equipment do you use?
Michi always uses different guitars but right now he is stuck with the Fender Jaguar and Marshall Amp and 4x12 Cab. I use Squier Jazzbass and a fender amp and cab. I use Squier not because I don't have the money for a fender, but I think my bass sounds pretty awesome so I keep it.
Felix uses Drums from Pearl and Sonor.Anything else?
