N.L.X is an intercontinental rap group, it's 2 founding members Shox and Vega hailing from London and Queens respectively. Coining the phrase "Alternative Rap", Shox and Vega came together through a mutual love of real hip hop and a feeling of frustration at how the spoken art has been misinterpreted in the mainstream. Shox had been making unique beats for a long time, just waiting for a lyricist who shared his vision of what hip hop should be when a chance meeting with Vega in november of 2006 paved the path for NLX. Vega's social commentary on lifes daily struggles, without glorifying the hustle, seemed to bring the best out of the beats he laced and within a short space of time, the duo hit the studio and started making their debut album "The Spoken Arts". Now garnering praise for their unique style, the pair are looking to break out and make the game take notice, without gimmicks and finger snapping, just good, real music.
