I dont make music to make others happy, i dont either to satisfy or fuel the commercial corpus in the music industry, I do it simply as an art, as real artists once upon a time did to express their views, meanings and sometimes deep secrets, or simply, as a tool to express the thougts within thier souls.
Band/artist history
As mentioned before, started DJing, age 17-18ish, then about a year ago got into music production.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
I used to, once upon a blue moon, DJ-ed first in Cape Town, my city of growth, then Windhoek, Pentagon club, but now since I'm producing music I sort of grown out of it really.
Your musical influences
Sasha, John Digweed, Anthony Pappa, Paul Oakenfold, Paul Van Dyk, LSG, Cafe Del Mar, Hybrid, Massive Attack, Prodigy, Carl Cox as well as other styles of music ranging from modern Rock bands like Linkin Park or Audioslave, to most kinds of modern jazz and sometimes blues too.
All in all, everything thats good and meaningfull, I like, 'cause I like to be influenced as well as be the 'influencer'
What equipment do you use?
Ableton Live, Reason, Cubase SX and FL Studio.
Anything else?
Girls are like phones, they like to be held and talked too, but if you press the wrong button you'll be disconnected!
