i have been writting music for about ten years now. i started playing bass for death metal bands as soon as i picked up the instrument. i went from band to band trying to find what i was looking for. then i was introduced to nine inch nails and kmfdm. i knew right then and there that was the kind of music i wanted to do.Your musical influences
i listen to and respect all music. so everything influences me, but my main would be: j.s bach, jaco pastorius, square pusher, and most importantly trent reznor.What equipment do you use?
i am in the process of building a new machine, but at the moment i use a 750 machine with loads of ddr ram. as for my sound card i am quite happy with my delta 66 ( m-audio ) backed up with fostex powered moniters. as for amps i use a basic boss metal zone thru a marshall valvestate 30 ( not the best but hey it gets the job done ). i run that and all of my audio thru a berringer 8 track mixer. as for software, my main writting tool is reason 2.5. for mixing i use acid 4.0. and for mastering i use sound forge 6.0.... i also have but do not use, sonar 2.0 and pro tools for windows ( which sucks ).Anything else?
