I'd prefer to call it "Cyberpunk-influenced Techno-rock". That term usually doesn't help anyone, and they usually think "industrial", when I'm actually thinking "Voivod meets Kraftwerk".
I believe DJ Ultr@ said it best: "a nice Rock meets Electronica fusion"(thanks!). Basically, you can think of it as a fusion of the 2 styles of music I was raised on: New Wave and (hard) rock.
I've been told over the last 2 years that it simply can not be done, and that no one would want to listen to it. What's that word people like to use for me? "Stubborn"?
