Necropolis (IL)
Currently this is a two-man band but we hope to expand this in the future.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
This band began a million years ago as a thrash band by the name of Fathom. We played all over the southern Illinois area. Then we all went to college....got married....had kids....and now we're back (at least two of us are!) and the metal is more dark and evil than ever before!!!
Your musical influences
We're influenced heavily by death metal bands like Obituary and Nile. We also love harmony and are heavily influenced by such excellent bands like Nevermore, Mastodon, Lamb of God, Hypocrisy, and Opeth.
What equipment do you use?
Schecter Hellraiser, ESP M-1000, POD XT Live, Marshall, Behringer (I know! I know!) among other things.
