Noise, build and groove. Listen, don't read.

Someonething I whipped up on cubase/reason in about an hour. I can't be bothered to put real sax on there, so synth will have to do. It's actually not a bad synth sax.

Bebop

The Depth of Human Suffering The Depth of Human Suffering

Ambient, atonal, arythmic black metal. This is possibly the most experiemntal thing I've done. The vocals are pretty f***ed up, not typical metal vocals, or typical vocals of any kind. You'll just have to hear it...

Heavy Metal

Light Light

an altogether more chilled-out affair...

Me + nothing better to do all day + sequencing software = this.

Electronica

Welcome to my MP3 page, here you will find examples of the sort of material I write. Although I'm involved in several other bands, this page is for my solo work. It is mainly jazz, although I have been known to experiment with classical music as well. All the pieces available for download here are rough ideas and demo verions of my songs, the quality isnt fantastic (particularly if you listen to the lo-fi versions) but it's the best I can produce in my current financial status.
Band/artist history
I started playing music when I was about six I think, I've played many different instruments but I think the sax is the one I find most natural to play.
Your musical influences
This is hard to say, I guess my music teachers have all influenced me in one way or another, i don't really have a particular artist that I look up to. I like to think i'm doing my own thing and let people make thier own comparisons and judgements.
What equipment do you use?
I play a Selmer SA80 series 3 tenor sax with a selmer Jazz silver mouthpiece. I use a terratec DMX6fire soundcard and Cubase SX for accompaniement (dodgy MIDI sounds arent ideal, but I cant afford anything better at the moment) Real guitar and bass also feature on some tracks, i won't bore you with further details.
