Death/Black Metal

Nathaniel White. A murderous compilation of artists striving for nothing less than an ungodly onslaught of brutality.
Band/artist history
The story of its formation begins in the summer of 2004, when guitarist Mike Ganly and the Brothers Pasichnyk (John and Steve) formed The Oedipus Complex with Jake Franklin and Damien Defiebre. Together, they experienced a short, but successful run. When John became too strained by his Navy obligations, the band could no longer wait on him. His replacement also put a heavy strain on the band and was soon let go. However, a close friend of the bands came to the rescue. Enter Kevin Alicea. When the remaining boys of The Oedipus Complex began jamming with this new guitarist, they saw endless new possibilities. They could no longer remain the same band, with such talents at their disposal. After re-developing several Oedipus Complex songs, including Social Constraints and Who the Fuck took Sunday, the band would venture out into totally original waters, writing You put the Slut in Safe Mode under their new moniker, Nathaniel White. Citing performance issues the band decided it would be best to let vocalist Damien go out on his own. Also, Drummer Steve Pasichnyk was being strained by his commitments to his High School Football team, and the band mutually decided upon his departure for the good of Nathaniel White. The band was now fronted by vocalist Chris Posada for a short period of time, until shortly after replacing him with Jesse Kirkland, and seemingly out of nowhere, Jesse decided to pursue his own life and get married at the young age of 18. Drummer Steve was succeeded by Dave Gapay, formerly of The Speed Kings of Thunder. Dave brought his own style of power and experience to this largely reformed band, and has never since stopped contributing heavily to Nathaniel Whites success. At around the same point, in late July 2005 Bassist Jake Franklin decided that his college career was being put under terrible strains due to his involvement in the band, and also left. Luckily, at a Between the Buried and Me show on July 27th in Poughkeepsie, chance would have it that a replacement for Jake would be found in Cory Seeley. Cory brought energy back into an experienced band, and soon thereafter, Nathaniel White picked up now-vocalist Shaun Whitehead. The band went through a period of development, writing a multitude of awe-inspiring and overwhelmingly technical songs such as Puerto Rico, "Missouri" and Frailty. Just when the band felt it had fallen into harmony, Donnie Quarles made his appearance in late Fall 2005. After months of being with this line-up, Nathaniel White is now fully developed, and ready to shove melodic death metal down your throat, so get ready for a non-stop rush of adrenaline and get up and thrash your arms to their arsenal of blood-curdling breakdowns and hair-raising melodies, because they marching their way across America to your town starting in 2006.
