We are a 6 piece band. But were an 8 piece originally
We love making music together and have a definite leaning towards Rock and Roll and the Blues, but we have also developed quite an eclectic mix of music to perform. We usually play only twice a year, raising money for local charities.
Members:
Martyn vocals
Martin lead guitar
Keith lead and rhythm guitar + vocals
Mike rhythm guitar
Dave Bass
John drums unfortunately deceased
Roger percussion and vocals
Steve keyboard retired because of ill healthBand/artist history
We were formed in 2017 as a U3A group, hence our name, and by our love of Rock and Blues music, which we attempt to play.
We are all local to the Cheltenham area and are all members of the Bishops Cleeve U3A. Although we have now stopped our affiliation with the u3a hence our name change to MUZAKHave you performed in front of an audience? We have organised and performed at several events to raise funds for local charities, these were very well received and raised substantial funds for the charities
Your musical influences
We are influenced by many, and as there are 8 of us we have very diverse musical ideas. Peter Greens Fleetwood Mac, John Mayall, Eric Clapton, Chuck Berry, Status Quo, Tom Petty, Oasis and many more. Thanks again Rodrica, enjoyed the process of writing this song along with “ Dont like feeling this way” of course only recorded at a live gig so not the best of recording, but at least it’s out thereGreat song, this is how the blues should sound! Excellent stuff. Thanks David Yes, we really enjoy the whole process and I think enjoy is the main thing. We learn off each other as well which we hope helps us to improveGreat stuff guys. As an 'oldie' myself, I can vouch for how great playing music with like minded people makes you feel. All comments (5)

Great stuff Martin. Makes me want to play 'Live' again. Unfortunately there's slim chance of this at the moment. Playing in a band situation is something that I really miss.
