My 2nd rockabilly tune trying to emulate Carl Perkins and The Beatles using my Gretsch and an acoustic guitar.
A song created with the intention of sounding like a 1960s rock group. Instruments: 12 string Rickenbacker CW 360, J160E Gibson acoustic, Gretsch Country Classic for guitar chink, and Fender Precision Bass.
Gretsch Country Classic, 12 String Rickenbacker CW 360, Beatle bass, and Sonar. Trying to sound like The Byrds, however as usual------my lyrics suck.
A tune using a 12 string Rickenbacker and a Gretsch. Cheesy meaningless lyrics are included for your enjoyment.
Trying to sound like Ray Davies or The Beatles or R. McGuinn. Rick 360 12 string, J160E, Beatle bass, Vox organ.
Once again the 12 string Rick, J160E, and Beatle bass.
One more tune about an unhappy guy. Gretsch Country Gentleman, J160E, Fender Precision bass, strings, acoustic piano
Beatle bass, Gretsch 6119 T. Rose, Rickenbacker 12, piano. Ludwig snare
Gibson J160E acoustic guitar, Beatle bass, piano, strings, horn, maracas, Gibson LP with P90 electric guitar. Same verse and chorus twice
A remake of a tune written by Johnny Proctor. The song intro reminds me of The Monkees, however, the intro was extracted from the original version by John. The main guitar is my Gretsch Country Gentleman (on both the left and right channels).
This one has crowd noise to simulate a live recording. I also added horns and strings.
Trying to write something like McCartney's 'For No One'. I wrote a horn bridge with strings on the side.
I did not play any live instrument on this one. Everything sequenced. An instrumental based on the bolero style of the 50s and 60s.
Trying to sound like the 1960s with a raw jangly guitar sound and as always simple lyrics. Featuring a U-2 Danelectro, J160E, acoustic piano, and McCartney bass.
