Today would have been Dave's 57th birthday! It's hard to believe he has been gone for over 7 years, but his memory will live forever in the minds and hearts of those of us who had the pleasure and privilege to know him!
Hello again!
I've got a new song up called "Catch Me Wings". I love it and I hope that you will too. Please stop by when you get a chance and give it a listen. It's my first song that's 100% done.
Thanks so very much for your time. God bless you and yours always.
Love and Peace,
Beth
Dear Dave,
It's been a long time coming, but I finally have a new song up. It's a song I wrote to my Daddy four days before he passed away. It was God's way of telling me that it was his time.
This is not the final version of the song. We recorded it in a hurry as I thought I was leaving town. The next version we'll take our time. It needs to be a bit slower, with less cymbals, and better vocals. The timing on it is a bit off as well.
Anyway...it will give you an idea of what's to come. I hope that you'll give it a listen. Oh...it's called, "Daddy Can You Hear Me Up In Heaven?" Thanks for checking it out. Have a wonderful day and God bless you always!
Love and Peace,
Beth
PS
I've got a band now! There are four of us! Woo Hoo!
This would have been Dave's 50th birthday. Sadly, he is no longer with us in body, but will remain forever in spirit. His existence brought joy and hope to those of us who were fortunate enough to know him, and his music is enlightening to those fortunate enough to hear it. Happy 50th Dave. Thank you for all the great music and fond memories,
I am very sad about the passing of Dave Alford, however I must put my own loss aside and rejoice for Dave because he is now with the one for whom he wrote and played his wonderful music. I had the honor of playing in several of Dave's band and saying he was a great musician is an understatement. He was the Greatest musician and those who knew him personally will surely agree. Dave may be gone in the flesh, but his memory will live forever through the music he blessed the world with, and the memory of the caring Christian person that he was. Rest in Peace, Dave, and thanks for being here in the first place.
