There's nothing I'd rather do than play music. I write my own songs, but also enjoy playing the work of Kate Wolf, Richard Thompson, the Grateful Dead, and many other musicians too numerous to mention. The songs I write tap into the same veins of insight, inspiration, and ecstasy that my favorite musicians channel so well.

Story behind the song
We remember friends as we last saw them...but how/who are they now?
Lyrics
I remember meeting you in the summer of love Where the mountains come down to the sea Your eyes said yes and my heart said yes Yes yes you were the woman for me We went swimmin’ in the ocean And hiking up the hills Sat quiet and watched the sun set Went dancin’ through the magic door together Twas a time I’ll never forget Then I journeyed east while you stayed west And one road led to another The last I heard was a letter from you Said you were gonna be a mother You said you were livin in a tipi in the hills With a sweet, wild wonderful guy I read that letter, went and watched the sunset And I gave you up with a sigh And now it’s another century But your laugh still haunts my mind I wonder where you are in this big old world If I found you who would I find? Are you still holdin’ out in the Mendocino woods Or did you fall back to the city? Have you grown hard with the cares of age? Or are you still soft and pretty? Do you ever go dancin’ through the magic door Do you still sit and watch the sunrise? Or are you in too much of a hurry Or are you even alive? And would I know you if I saw you Or would I just walk on by? And do you remember me, remember me at all? My my my how time flies
