Some of the members of the band in the past have been Azrael Fireheart, Darsi Menace, Rayford Lahaye,Carson Kindheart, Tonya Kitsune and Black Thander Dragon.The band was started in 2013 by Kai Lacrosse and Vixen Fireheart. Kai Lacrosse has a very extensive musical background. Since 1999 Kai has been rapping under various rap aliases like Crazy Anthony, Crazy A, Angelus Deville, Psychopathic Anthony, Zombi Kidd, and Cross+Fire. Kai Lacrosse also has been in other bands like Co Conspirators, Killer Chronic Kids, BallBusters, and many others. Vixen Fireheart comes from a classical background and plays the violin. Rayford Lahaye is a rapper under the name Doktor Anarchy but plays classical music on occasion as well. In 2024 after being disbanded for two years The Collective Conciousness came back with a whole new album. This time the band consisted of Kai Lacrosse, Vixen Fireheart, Tonya Kitsune, Thander Drake, and Doktor Anarchy. In 2025 Doktor Anarchy left the group and so did Thander Dragon. In 2026 Diamond Ash joined the group. So in 2026 the group consist of Kai Lacrosse, Vixen Fireheart, Tonya Kitsune, and Diamond Ash.
