Decaying Orbit is an experimental, unorthodox, highly diverse & genre-splitting band from Texas led by their infamous front man Mike Ash. "No, this music's not about that, it's not about sound quality, it's about passion." - Mike Ash. Decaying Orbit is produced by their label, Decaying Enterprises Productions and has released many studio albums since they formed in 2008, after the violent break up of the Psychedelic Rock band, Strangefire, of which Mike was the former front man. Decaying Orbit believes in unadulterated musical & creative freedom, Mike describes their music as a "cathartic purge" or "nervous break downs caught on tape.". The band believes that creating music is a sacred, spiritual and magical art form brought to them by the Muses, wraiths and demons hidden just beyond the veil between the worlds of the physical and spiritual realms. Decaying Orbit has traveled beyond the veil and into the realms of the spirits, only to reemerge, like a caterpillar from it's cocoon emerging as a beautiful butterfly, so does Decaying Orbit get reborn through the fire of their cacophonous tunage. The band believes in complete freedom of lifestyle, I.E. sexuality, religion, spirituality, drugs, manner of dress etc. They believe that music is an interstellar language that needs no translation to be understood by absolutely anyone. It's the passion behind the emotions found in the music that matters to Decaying Orbit, they believe that integrity is more important than fortune or fame. This is our Decaying Orbit & we do hope that you will N'Joy tha' show!!!!

Story behind the song
Yet another song I did, blacked out on whiskey, Rum & blazed on smoke!!! once more, I have absolutely NO recollection of writing or recording this song. It was recorded in 2001 for the Mike Ash album, "Gutz n' Gagz". This is a song about addiction, despair and absolute darkness & depression, it is about desperation & pain, as well as an almost audible anguish thinly veiled behind my vocals. This is a true cathartic purge that just happened to get caught on record & released upon my unsuspecting listeners.
Lyrics
the silver spoons are tarnished and frozen to the floor, give me one more holiday, one more pill to take, one more last resort.... push me closer to the edge, push me closer to the edge, let me fall, see if I break at all.... give me one more nice resort, give me one more nice resort, give me one more nice resort and I'll see that it's my last.... buried in this landslide lies my retort, watch my spirit break, watch my spirit break, and my Love, I Love to hate you now, though I still feel everything, it just falls apart.... though I still feel your pulse somehow, somehow if I had a heart I know you'd rip it out, everything just falls apart, scream and shout.... carry out my sentence and give me the fucking needle, every song I wrote for you with my open heart, every time I spoke the truth, every little pain that you sent, maybe a heart ache, I wish that you could feel it, I wish that you could see it.... puke me up into a bag of pamphlets on VD, you're such a hypocrite, you're so like me, why can't you just catch the plague and die within the flames?!?! search to find a situation, this is getting tame.... hello Mr. Blow Job, meet me after school, I give you a nose job and you'll medicate my tool.... chemical was a good boy and an average student and he went to church, what else?!?! what else?!?!
