Showcase attendees and the surrounding community are sure to be blessed by the addition of an all Holy Hip Hop Showcase highlighting the lyrical and ministry skills of some of the nations most talented artists. Formed after the successful "Bridging The Gap Gospel Hip Hop Conference", put on by one of our sponsors Urban Gospel Alliance, MicRippaz HHH Magazine wanted to pay homage to the roots of the organization by having a showcase to stress the importance of including Holy Hip Hop to churches in hope to save the youth. “Our purpose in this endeavor is to bridge the gap between Gospel music and Holy Hip Hop music and bring Holy Hip Hop to the bay area with a vision of an explosion that it has never known. For this reason, God gave us a VISION, and that vision is to BRING DOWN THE WALLS OF SEPARATION, and bring a ministry to the bay area that will not only feed our young people on their level, but also let them know it is ok to lift up his name in a form of rap,” said CEO of MicRippaz, LaShawn Batiste.
