I've had a lifelong relationship with Christ and not to explore the spiritual side in music, would be foolish. Story behind the song
1 Tim 5:13, II Thes 3:10-12, Rev 2:4, Heb 5:9, 2 Cor 5 - Verse 2 was originally based on my childhood memory of standing room only at Christmas and Easter services. I couldn't quite understand where these people were the rest of the year. Verse 1 is a more recent observation that sometimes I personally fit into and reflect the fallen world a little too closely and it hurts my witness. Verse 3 and 4 is a general observation how we don't live up to our own spiritual potential. So busy living and surviving that we lose focus on why we're here. The prince of this world makes a nice but empty playground.
