O God please make me what You want me to be
I'm not as strong as I know I should be...and when I do succeed, it's not really me. I need more help than all these people can see.
Hold me when I fall. Hear me when I call. Purge me with Your Word as I seek to serve. Cleanse me with Your love through me.
Make me like Your Son. He died for everyone and now He interceeds - interceeds for me though I nailed Him to a tree.
O God don't let me be a self-centered man. Someone I love is in danger again. It may take time for You to help them understand they can't do anything without Your sovereign hand.
What if I don't live past another day, all those things I've done, will they matter anyway? Will it have meant anything?
