Story behind the song
While hunting for a Mother-Son song for my son's wedding, I was dissapointed to find nothing that said what I needed to say. Having raised my son as a single Mom, we had often felt as if we stood together against the world. I needed a song that reflected the emotions I felt. I am sure I am not the only single mom who has experienced this same need. Every word envolks the special moments I shared with my young son as we grew up together and I proudly gave him over to his beautiful wife. A musician friend of mine composed the music and together, we offer it to all of you Mom's who stood the test of time, raising sons.
