A whimsical stroll through the imagination of a lost soul...inspired by (you know who!)
Just me...noodling around. All the songs but one were recorded using Sonar Producer. "Maybe We're Dreaming" was recorded with a Fostex MR8-HD stand-alone recorder. Everything is me playing and singing, except for the drums (MIDI soft synths) and the MIDI piano track on "In My Life".

Lyrics
Yes my friends, I've got a lesson for you I'll tell you something you should never do And if anyone asks, I never did lapse Or lose sight of the facts...(or did you) As I was surfin’ ‘round the television the other day An angel’s face made ev’rything good in the news Fixing the economy, presidential honesty, everything seemed all right! And all at once she eased my blues I told my friends about my television experience I raved and blushed about her gracious style Never did it dawn on me that she would never fall for me, the boys got a big ol’ laugh! They let me keep my childhood smile So he went home and started his due diligence It said she wouldn't like him ‘cause she's gay! (OK!) He takes the candles down from ‘round her picture And wonders if she got his letter yet (You bet!) Before you go on chasing television star fantasies Rewind this track and learn from my mistake Don’t go dreamin’ ‘bout people you don't know about, you’ll end up getting burnt! And don't tell your pals; you'll seal your fate Trust me I found out too late!
