This is a funeral dirge I composed for my wonderful dog, Gypsy (1999-2010) Grieving her for this past year has been difficult at best. I composed this as a way to deal with her loss. The song title is Gaelic for Goodbye Dear Gypsy.

I am the band. 5 years ago I was rescued by technology, the kind that lets you multi-track in the comfort of your home, a process that requires no squabbling band members, no painful indecision, no drama. Gadgets that allow you to express yourself musically and archives those thoughts in a cyber space that is available to the world. Legacy, not infamy, in the sense that something you did will be left behind for all.

Story behind the song
Thank God for music. It has so helped get through this loss of my dog, Gypsy. I composed this funeral dirge as a tribute to her, because it has always effected me when I heard the "pipes" at a fireman's funeral. You could feel the nobility and the loss even if they were a stranger. With this I am turning a page and remembering her for all the good times we had.
