Story behind the song
I had no lyrics and a sketchy melody for this song for 2 years and was about to just make it instrumental. I sent it to Joe Mizzi hoping he'd come up with something. He said he needed something to start from, so it was back to me. Joe's voice has been compared to RJ Dio's, so I sat down and thought: "What would Dio sing about......ahhha, a Castle!" When I was finished, I wondered what it all meant.......Joe added a few more lyrics which fit perfectly. I think it's best to let the listener fill in their own imagination. I have a whole setting, plot and back-story in my head which explain everything behind the lyrics to myself. Heck, I could have concept album, movie or rock opera if I kept going with it.
