I'm a veteran guitarist / producer, having worked in a multitude of genres - most all progressive (jazz, ambient, rock, fusion, etc.). Currently doing a lot of progressive fusion, progressive acid jazz, ambient, techno, solo-acoustic, etc. Newer pieces are the result of long-distance collaboration with former bandmates and other artists via latest studio networking technology.

Story behind the song
Piece originally started as a singular one-take guitar improvisation around the time of the BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. John K. was inspired to jam along and develop keyboard tracks to embellish and essentially take the track to a whole other level sonically and thematically.
