Hi! Welcome to my page. First off, I am primarily a lyricist who occasionally composes his own melodies. That's why you'll see/hear some cowritten songs here. Secondly; I can't sing, even if my life depended on it, so I've posted Studio Demos. Third; I listed my songs as "country, general" but I hope you'll find a little more variety here than what you expected. My hope is that you'll find these songs Very accessible; Songs you can sing along with, Songs you'll know by Heart. ENJOY!!!

Story behind the song
I was missing my wife one day while she was out, and caught myself turning the radio down when sad songs came on. So, it wasn't much of a leap from there to write the song! :o)
Lyrics
TURN THE RADIO OFF I'm here all alone tonight because my baby's gone. For company I've got the radio and it's playin' Country songs. You know I love my Country, these songs they aren't half-bad. But tonight it seems that most these songs are just so gosh-darn sad. I'll turn the radio off> Here comes a song about broken hearts to fill mine full of gloom. So I reach out for the radio in the darkness of my room..... I'm feelin' awful sad tonight and these songs, they sure don't help. They make me feel a little worse and sorry for myself. I know my baby loves me, I'm sure that she'll be back to give me all the happiness that these sad songs all lack! -I'll turn the radio off!! (c)2004, Timothy D Brown & CowboySlim
