A short funky 8 beat piece with drums, bass rhythm and lead guitar all in single takes, just a little fun
home studio band, a guy and a gal getting funky
I started playing bass in 1971 and guitar in 1973. Along the way I was fortunate to play along side some great musicians. The rest of my high school band went pro. I wanted more certain income. My wife started flute and upright bass lessons in school and played bass professionally in a road band. Together we pretty much cover it all including drums, keyboards, vocals and of course guitar and bass. In recent years I have sought to return to glory days and found the new equipment is an absolute dream compared to when I got started. Now we are having fun creating and exploring.

Story behind the song
After attending my 35 year reunion I realized I hadn't played in months. I wanted to do something special but decided instead just to do something that would get done in an hour or two. So I whipped this up just for fun. Thought I'd share it. It's no rock opera, but at least I'm still playing.
Lyrics
Background screaming and farm noise tracks muted... took lyrics with them.
