Story behind the song
Song about real life characters in Las Vegas New Mexico. A town famous since the wild west for being a crime and drug haven. The town provides little or no opportunities for youth and adults in areas of jobs, education and positive life experiences. I have at least 10 classmates that have died since graduation due to drugs, alcohol, gangs, police violence,and illness. To most people this is normal in Vegas.
