Hailing from Philadelphia, PA- 3rDegr33 is named after the survival of 2nd and 3rd Degree burns in a near-fatal fire that occurred in his adolescent years. Currently, 3rDeGr33 is a Member of the Armed Forces, a Computer Specialist, a Rapper and Entrepreneur wrapped into one. At the age of 13 he started blessing the microphone in his home town of Lower Merion, PA. Most of his high school years were spent beat boxing and rapping in the hallways of Harriton High School. 3rDegr33 was quick to spit at cipher after cipher and skipped class after class perfecting his craft. As a person who was constantly surrounded by music (all of his friends are musicians) he picked up a unique style and has an ear for "real music". He felt he was way too cool for school and dropped out in 2002. Soon after he and his mother were evicted from their home and relocated to Section 8 housing in West Philadelphia @ 52 and Master. 3rDegr33 found himself getting into trouble and around the wrong crowd so he decided to join the military in June of 2004. In 2005 he lost his mother to lung cancer and vowed to begin taking his music and his life a lot more seriously to make her proud. Since being in the military he has been a part of the Presidential Honor Guard and a trained Computer Specialist. He has traveled the country to places like Alaska, Washington D.C., San Francisco and Los Angeles, CA to name a few. In his spare time he works on perfecting his craft and does all of the recording, mixing and engineering at his apartment. Miraculously he still finds time to pursue a Bachelors Degree in Computer Information Systems.
