This song was a natural finisher, it as a feel of early pink floyd about it around the "Umaguma" time.
I purposely put alot of treble onto the instruments to give it an early 70s feel which I think works well.
Pink Floyd meets Hawkwind meets Pink Fairies!
Ive used fretless bass on all of this cd (Playing that is an aquired triumph I can tell you) but I do like the smoother sound that you get.
I hope you liked the songs on "Jungle"Ive enjoyed doing them, & finishing on this 70s type of track as led me to want to do something with that feel to it, prog rock.
Ille call it "Roots" n& it will be next for production.
Thanks for listening!
Gavin
Quite an uplifting feel to this last track. The drums sound good for being a little higher in the mix. Maybe you could introduce a few 'tom tom' fills and crash cymbals to the drum track (or on a separate track) at selected points ? Altogether, a very memorable listen. . . This track, and the whole CD. Very well done. You deserve to feel pleased with this Gavin.
