"when one met two" began with a desire to try something new. After playing in bands for several years, I wanted to do a project with new musicians and a new perspective. While this does not mean an end to any of my other musical endeavors, I wanted to record something where, ultimately, I had to answer to no one but myself. After enlisting the assistance of long-time producer Ted Comerford, I began the process of finding both the right songs and the right musicians for the project. I wanted this cd to be a mixture of some of my older songs that we could now reinvent and some of the newer songs that I had written but had not yet seen the light of day (or darkness of a club). The older songs that were chosen were "swell" and "somebody told me"' - they joined new songs "answers" and "desert plain." Consider the last track something else altogether - a cool-down or musical palette cleanser. I was fortunate enough to have the generous support of Jarrett (bass), J.P. (drums), and "Max Power" (backing vocals) from Virginia Coalition, as well as Vivion from Juniper Lane. Without their help and talent, this whole thing would still be an inaudible idea. If you haven't already heard their bands - click the links and check them out - you'll be glad you did. This has been a long, arduous road - we started last September - but I am thrilled with the finished product and hope you will be as well. So, check out the songs, buy the disc, send me your comments, do whatever you like - have fun with it. Thanks for visiting and please do spread the word.

Lyrics
Find your answers Said the woman to the man You're leaving in the morning According to your plan If you come back here I want you to be sure Let love's light guide you To the open door Search for answers Sifting through the crimes I've seen The lies that I've been told Search for answers You can't catch time So live your life Ignite your soul Do you have answers Said the dreamer to the man Tell me if our lives here Follow any plan For I have grown up Never thinking I could fail And logically my mind has now become my only jail Search for answers… There is an answer Said the man to his new friend But gladly they don't show it to us Until we've reached the end For that may alter The way we live our days And we might miss life's richness Deep within the maze Search for answers…

I like a song with lyrical meaning. Though our philosophies may differ, a song encouraging a search for truth, and answers, is good in this day.
