Piano rock ballad with electronic sounds plus vocals, sort of Tony Bennett meets Queen. Don't miss the ending, with a return of the gremlins!

This is a one-man studio-based outfit which has two streams. One is to produce songs, with vocals, in a fairly conventional format, that you might expect a "real" band to play. The other is to produce instrumentals with experimental electronic sounds, the stranger the better, but hopefully still appealing. I love that virtual world full of beauty and weirdness. Perhaps that's where I'll go when I die.

Story behind the song
Like many songs, the basic image of the flying kimono man came in a dream. I then tried to write down the emotional chain that followed from it.
Lyrics
Why should a man with flowing kimono Drift above street level, glancing round? Clothing dissolving, clean shapes of cloth Drifting and fluttering up and down. This is the man I am, these are the clothes that make me, This is the gift that I give to you all. These fragments are for you to keep and read, Examine their shape, the way they resist As gravity brings them toward you And how they turn into scattered rags Worse than useless as you and time pass. So where, Mr Ticker Tape, Mr Confetti, Where will you fly to from here? Fly to the future and stand in its way? Are there others beside you, behind you today? Look again, is this what you think, Fading and bleaching? This dark receding hair not so convincing. It's nothing but movement and everyday vision, Illusion, revision, rejected decision, Derision, division, a passing phenomenon Not worth the notice of you or of anyone, Just a reflection that gets in your eye. Pick up the scattered rags, let the blank vision fly.
