New recording Vocals Remixed. Song in A, Aeolian mode. Wonderful Backing Track by David Wallimann. I'm hoping the sentiment and mood have survived the rough edges of rarely practiced vocals. Tokai and Hagstrom guitar

Story behind the song
A continuing quest to understand modes with the help of David Wallimanns teaching - one of his backing tracks (an Aeolian in A) had the right mood for the song about my best friend of 26 years, Sandra, that I wanted to write while relaxing on a tranquil holiday at Marnies Croft. A big thank you to David Wallimann for taking the mystery out of modes and explaining them so simply. The original song posted here too had some feedback that the vocals were not far enough forward in the mix.
Lyrics
We're sitting hungover in the car amused by the antics of passers by I'm loving to look into your eyes I'm thinking I'm falling for you You, you are beautiful will you mean the world to me? To me We're sitting quietly in the car watching the rain on the window I look in your eyes and I'm drowning I'm lost in my love for you You, you are beautiful you mean the world to me To me Twenty six years on and I'm still with you we sit here and look at the view and I look in your eyes - and I'm drowning again I'm still so much in love with you You, you are still so beautiful you'll always mean the world to me To me To me Lyrics - Mark Patterson - 20 June 2010
