Eclectic folk rock, we bring original sounds mixing guitar, cello and congas. Boaty Drink Music
Pitch Blue - Kevin D, singer/songwriter of the band hails originally from Toronto, Canada. After 14 years living in Florida and sitting behind the drums, he ended up in Kentucky where he did the singer/songwriter thing working with various musicians for sometime before finding neighbors with musical desires. Kenneth Mansfield moved into the area from the DC area, originally hailing from the Carolinas and with a penchant for Scottish Pipe bands, Kenneth holds down the beat on Congas. Living two houses from Kevin, Teresa Beck had been warming back up to the Cello she put down years before. Bringing a very cool mid-range sound to the trio she was convinced the Cello can have a place in an acoustic rock act. Pitch Blue is now working on their first full length CD

Story behind the song
Just a vibe I got after listening to MGMT, Time to pretend. Sat down and knocked it out.
Lyrics
30 pound elephants don't move the earth as much as they'd like. If you're just gonna stand there mute, you might as well let go of the mike. If you knew you'd die tomorrow would you dance a little harder tonight. Aeroplanes drop cocktails that explode and show off their might. psychodelic colors that erupt and cancel out the night. If you knew... Hell is pain, but cellophane will do it if the corners are tight. But who would want to lose it by deciding to shut off their own light. If you knew...
