One guy, a pre-post-postmodern composer / artist / geek. (Note: All tracks are licensed so that you can play them anywhere free, even commercially!)
Hi, call me just john. I started as a "home taper," back in high school, and I've been doing odd things with music and noise ever since.

Story behind the song
(Noise in middle is intentional!)
Lyrics
Then there was that guy whose whole studio was connected to only two outlets in his house. Big surge suppressors plugged into the wall, slightly smaller surge suppressors plugged into the big ones, even smaller surge suppressors, all covered with wall warts, plugged into those. For the things on the other end of the wires from the wall warts, mostly instruments and effects boxes, the electricity was so smoooooth, conditioned and emergency-prepared that ... well .... One evening, he was noodling about, just minding his own business, when lightning struck his house. It welded his stove shut, it was so intense! His computer's just fine, but most of the other stuff -- the gadgets and gizmos and their wall warts -- got sucked into Hyperspace and replaced with a jump gate. So now, every so often, these leeetle, teeeeny x-wing fighters come out of the jump gate, have a look at the guy's setup and hightail it back through the gate before he can pick up something to throw at them. He sends his abject apologies to anybody out there whose planet has experienced a sudden upturn of beer bottles and chinese food cartons falling from the sky. Besides Earth, that is.
