My thoughts are not your thoughts nor are your ways my ways says the LORD. As the heavens are higher than the earth so are my ways higher than yours. Isa: 55:9
"Many, O LORD my God, are your wonderful works which you have done, and your thoughts which are towards us: they cannot be counted up in order to you: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered." Psalms:40:5 This is what my music is all about.

Story behind the song
The story of man's apparent inability to learn from his past mistakes is told by a speaking stone.
Lyrics
I heard a pebble crying as it lay upon the shore So I listened quite denying and thought whatever for? Yes I heard a pebble crying as it lay upon the shore It was whimpering and sighing, "They're sailing off to war" What is all this moaning I patiently implored? And what is all this groaning?; "They're sailing off to war" "Sit down" it said, "and hear me, I've quite a lot to tell" "Sit down" it said, "l'll tell thee why I'm not feeling well" "Twas many creeping tides ago as many as the stars When water shifting very slow had reached me from afar Waves came hard and waves came fast they battered at my side They twisted, tumbled, carved and passed but each one was defied Boulders up and down the beach were falling left and right Still I was far beyond the reach of such a dreadful plight In spite of all the thundering the surging ocean made I lay there without wondering and I was not afraid And then those heartless cannon balls came crashing here and there From killer ships with golden hauls and men who never cared Though some were close they missed my spot and so I breathed relief But things they pass and I could not foresee the coming grief Several times men passed me by and with them came their wars And there I lay beneath the sky asking God 'what for?' Blood ran thick and hate ran cold so many lives were lost That I the rock though dead and old was crying for the cost Today I'm just a pebble yet man and war remain From boulder to a pebble and still he is insane So be glad you cannot stay as long as I the weeping rock To watch the never ending wrong and crack with every shock" With this my heart exploded such pain it couldn't bear At once such grief unloaded from a bleeding rock that cared Yes I heard a pebble crying as it lay upon the shore It was whimpering and sighing, "They're sailing off to war"
