--- There's a theory on http://www.reluctant-messenger.com that Genesis 1:1 and 1:2 are not instantaneous, but that about a million years pass between these verses, leaving room for the life and death of the dinosaur. And it's also theorized that the rebellion of Lucifer occured during this time. Here are the verses:
Genesis 1:1
"In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth."
Genesis 1:2
"Now the earth became formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters."
See where it says became? Something had to make it that way. The theory is that Lucifer blocked out the Sun, creating the Ice Age that killed many animals. Scientists also found wooly mammoths frozen with food still in their mouths. Nothing known to man can freeze a large animal that fast.
Another thing that backs up the theory that Satan blocked off the Sun is that God reveals the Sun in Genesis 1:14. BUT he made all the plants and vegetation in verses 11-13. That's BEFORE the Sun! Plants can't live without a source of great light. So the Sun must've been already created.
Now about the the last two bars in my verse, it's pretty much about when God created different languages for the human race in the Tower of Babel. The theory behind that is that Lucifer wanted man to gain more knowledge until we finally destroy ourselves. So God caused everyone of every race to enter the Tower of Babel, to confuse the universal language into several different languages. This way it would be harder for everyone to come together and quickly understand the power of the Sun (WMDs). Another way of averting this danger was The Flood of Noah's time, to recreate humanity.
