Return with us to the age of psychedelia..
rock metal wisconsin amish
Amish Mob was founded in 1996 because we, as fans of true rock, were fed up with all of the same old crap we were being force-fed by the radio, and the dance happy bar bands that seem to all have the same set list. We play first and foremost to please ourselves, and other like-minded individuals as well, because we know that classic metal/hard rock is viable market that is largely overlooked, leaving the fans of hard rock music from the 70's & 80's feeling somewhat deserted. We decided to play music by bands we all love such as Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, etc., and played many of the songs only their true fans would recognize and flip out when they hear them because "nobody ever plays this"!! It worked out beautifully. After several personnel changes we have been able to begin writing and recording our own music, which is what you hear on this website. Our true introduction is only just beginning.....

Story behind the song
There was some time that needed killing..
Lyrics
When Life had first started,I knew not the month Life had meant nothing, food was a must Spent my waking hours learning to speak Must get up & going, get up on my feet Get on my feet... Now everyone's watching, look into their eyes Truth to the maker keeps your soul alive Learn all your lessons to read, write, and speak And in proper fashion you must always keep Must always keep... So love all your neighbors and keep their respect Do them a favor without regret Hear my words now, you know they are true I didn't write them, I sing them for you Sing them for you You know that it's true I sing them for you I sing them for you...
