Joe Bailey has been singing and playing african drums since the age of 10. Born in Brooklyn Kings County Hospital & raised in Long Island,Waterbury Ct & Harlem. He has the perfect ingredients for mixing with cultures musically from all diversities.He has traveled and performed in Luxembourg,Sweden,Holland,Italy,Switzerland,Canada,Trinidad & Jamaica.Blending Reggae & Hip Hop with a twist of african drums he has managed to capture audiences of all ages to connect to his unique style and premier performance abilities. He has also appeared in the 1975 Ebony Magazine issue as well as performed on Positively Black Tv with the Marie Brooks Childrens Dance Theatre. Joe Bailey has opened up for various artists such as Ziggy Marley & The Melody Makers,Soldiers Of Jah Army,Jah Works,Capleton,Supercat,Steel Pulse,Third World,Pato Banton,Yellowman,Burning Spear,De La Soul,The Manhattans,RayGoodman & Brown,Cash Money etc. Recorded His 1st Cd in Kingston Jamaica with Derrick Barnett (Sagitarius Band) titled "First Time" with Courtney Panton (Shaggy Boombastic albulm) & veteran studio one singer Boris Gardner 1996.NOw working on his 2nd Cd 2009 Reggae & R& B smash hit titled 7 a 2 disc set with familiar reggae love songs and originals soon to be released.
