Just another singer/songwriter. I play all my own instruments (except drums) and record on a Boss BR1200CD standalone multi-track recorder
Just an old Back To The Land hippie that stuck to his plan.

Very Earthy and open recording that would be excellent accompaniment to a campfire, and the Loon just tops it all off with an enchanting natural oddity.

It's like being brought back in touch with nature - a very natural and captivating sound/vibe. Great playing and sound, love the effects too!

Listening to this is bringing me into a kind of trance. I'm totally relaxed now.
The sounds are so natural, like we are sitting around a fire in a huge forest and you are just playing something.
By the way, I had to find out what a loon is and now I know. That means the lake is nearby.......
Nice one, I like the mood in here.

Your are surely a fantastic stringed instrument player Charlie. I say “stringed” because you play so many, so well. Cool idea using the phase shifter affect. Great visuals while listening to this song, especially liked the Loon birds. :)

I've found out the dulcimer and the night sky go together well ;^)) Nice touch with the flanger - gives the instrument that wide-open feeling.

Very nicely done, the dulcimer is so crystal clear, and you noticed I marked vocals on this, I think the loons did a fantastic job in that respect, another great one.

Great mountain song! The loons add a sweet flutey atmosphere to this. This would be great for a nature film.
Very nice!

Never did wonder what a dulcimer would sound like through a phaser, now I know. Bloomin' Awesomes.
I didn't know a loon was a bird too, I thought they were either crazy folk, or a triangular insert in bell-bottom jeans! ;)
Brilliant Charlie, simply Brilliant.

Pine the Night sky is well done. These instrumental songs of yours are pretty pretty good. Really well palyed as well. Thise real birds in the background...?

Another cool song. I love the loons so much, I gave them a 5 for vocals. Great sound you have going here. Doesn't sound like an experiment at all.

we'll give the loons five stars for vocals too. cabin fever must be an inspirational condition for you. like the eerie, alone in the woods feel. spent a few nights staring up at the stars in our neck of the woods and this truely gets the job done. the dulcimer and it's droning tones fits perfectly with the call of the loons. well done. gabe
Putting that thru a phaser is just nuts, but in a good way, major pine wind atmosphere on this, if I'd heard this in the early seventies it would have freaked me right out, specially with the weird bird noises, what the hell is that? What is a loon? You Appalation people are somethin' else , you don't get this in Horseheath.
