Story behind the song
This short verse was written awhile back. On the RapBattles.com forums we had a crew called The Pedophiles Dungeon (as a joke) but we got deleted. After a vote, we reformed as The Pediatricians Office. This short verse was just written for practice, nothing serious. I recently got a mic and wanted to see how I would sound so I recorded the verse. Again, this is nothing serious, and just quickly thrown together.
Lyrics
My alarm clock sounds pulling me to reality
Escape the land of dreams full of insanity
I'd rather sleep but I stumble to the kitchen
Start thinkin about every day renditions
Begin wishin for a reason to keep going
I leave knowing, the kids are asleep snoring
Its heartwarming to see smiles through hard times
A little part dies when I hear those sharp cries
Inside, which makes me Realize, these real eyes
Reflect real lives, so each patient becomes a mission
Scraped knee or rape victim common cold or any syndromes
I treat each symptom but the struggle I hate to see
Mothers in state of grief slowly they take a knee
Tears fall no prayer is brief The childs in bed
The mother drops her head looks to her son and says
Let the night take you I pray no terrors shall shake you
And each morning that wakes you Tell the lord thank you.
