One moonlit summer night
As scenes of love flashed through her head
Like stars across the sky
She tried in vain to stop her heart
From racing like the wind
But scenes of love would always start
To cross her mind again
As they lay there hand in hand
Their bodies parallel
Strong feelings came to posses the man
He knew them all to well
They gripped his heart they gripped his mind
And then consumed his soul
Far stronger than the hands of time
Much harder to control
From far behind and up ahead
They drained his will to fight
