Story behind the song
During band, I didn't have time to write much. Right when it finished, I jumped on it and wrote out this one. Different style, but i like it.
Lyrics
If we could see ourselves In this deep and benign world Pain and regret, make me upset this time Inside the light we find A soul yet to be freed Aimless it seems, it works and it gleams at me Read, what it says Read, what it says Read, what it says…cuz it's not right Anyone's fit to say that they want a better life stuck in a hole, forced to enroll again perplexed with sacred text rolling in the slums laid out in bound, making a sound at you cuz I~~ haven't come clean this time and I~~~~ need to reconvene and rhyme Read, what it says Read, what it says Read, what it says…cuz it's not right
